A Special Message

The extremely fast growth of the Internet has provided many new and exciting opportunities for small and medium sized businesses and the organizations that provide services for them. This growth along with increasing globalization of all business activities has meant that many companies and organizations have been forced into "going global". Since many of these companies and organizations do not have staff people who are specially trained in international commercial practices, smaller companies are frequently required to seek outside assistance in order to evaluate global business opportunities. Unfortunately, this process of seeking outside assistance is often very confusing.

What Does JPG Consulting Do?

We ask a lot of questions.

One reason why the process of seeking outside assistance is so confusing is because very often the consultant and the potential client speak a different business language. There is a good reason for this.  Most business consultants obtain the bulk of their job experience by working for multi-national companies. Their concept of how business is done is based upon their own real world experiences. When they confront a problem within a small or medium sized company, they often try to develop a solution that comes from their own big company experience. When their solution is not implemented or fails to work, they blame the client for a lack of proper insight, failure to properly follow through or a number of other so-called weaknesses. You will seldom hear a consultant say that he/she developed an incorrect solution and if they do you can be certain that the client will be sent a bill to repair the mistake. That is not the case at JPG Consulting.

We ask a lot of questions because we know from experience that the client often does not know what they want from us. Some business executives are somewhat annoyed when we do not immediately respond to their requests for a price quotation for our services. Some think that our seeming refusal to state the price outright is an indication that the price will be very expensive or that we are not experienced enough. Wrong. We ask a lot of questions because we need to encourage the potential client to think about his/her business in new and different ways before we can determine if we can assist them to reach their business goals. We can't help everybody. Therefore, if after listening to you we determine that we can't help you we will do our best to refer you to somebody who can assist you.

Why Choose JPG Consulting?

I could waste your time explaining various reasons why you should choose my company. I will not. Your time is too valuable for that. The most important reason why you should choose JPG Consulting is the fact that we speak your language, the language of small business. We understand your problems and we can develop realistic solutions for your company based upon your budget.
